Um, Excuse Me[]

I appreciate the uploads for pictures we don't have, but why are you also overwriting perfectly acceptable ones too? (E.g. File:Toothless Blade.png", File:Shield Hilt.png, File:Old Headband.png.) -Akira (talk) 03:26, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Not sure I'm replying correctly[]

Isn't there a chat function or something? I'm new at this :/

Um Whoops![]

Sorry about that! Totally didn't notice :/ I'm getting ready to make a section of things you can find when opening the Old Pouch from fishing and didn't realize some of those items already existed. I'll pay closer attention next time.

There's a chat channel (here) for Curse, but for solely on the wiki, the talk pages are the discussion board.
And that's all right. For future reference, there's also Category:Unnamed Item Icons too, though it's been a while since it's been updated, and it might be a chore to look through (it shows only 200 images at a time). The pouch idea is a good one, but my personal opinion is that all the possible items can just be put on its page - I don't think it needs a template solely for itself. (And the way you designed the template page is actually how you use a template, not make one. If you need any help, feel free to drop me a line.)

Thanks for the information! I thought it might help to illustrate what I'm trying to do with the Old Pouch section (and possibly all pouch sections?) - the other day I made a Fish page, and would like to make a sortable table for Pouch items too. The caveat is, a sortable Fish page is far more useful than a sortable Pouch page. I had initially wanted to link each fish out to its own page, but then I didn't think there was much more information I could include on a unique fish page that wasn't already embedded in the table. I *do* like the cleanliness and completeness that a table affords. However, for the sake of search-ability, and uniformity, I can still go ahead and make an item page for each item within the table. If it's not a problem, I'll make an Old Pouch page to demonstrate the idea, and I have no problems cutting it down if it ends up being something other than what conforms to the rest of the site.

There seems to be a lack of secondary skill information in general, and I'd like to flesh that out a bit in the coming weeks. Also, some work on Tinkerer-related information.

Templates, I'm definitely new at this. For the Fish, for example, I didn't want to have to enter the link to the image repeatedly, and tried using a template as a means of saving that time. I wasn't sure if there was a way to do that more easily without a template or not. I tried looking up some wiki articles on templates in general, but when I tried to dissect and understand some of the preexisting templates, I found it difficult to understand.

Thanks for taking the time to read through this!
