In general, sorceresses are comptemtious and sarcastic, and Cynthia is no exception. The trainer will more often than not insult the player and every one the player talks about. The only exception to this seems to be the sorceresses studying under her, though this may be explained as keeping up appearances, or possibly because they were badly injured at the time.
Cynthia can give sorceresses access to their skill trees, as well as the tutorial.
