Hiya[]

Just a quick note that {{delete}} on a page requested for deletion will do. Admittedly not much of a difference here, but in busier wikis, that's the better way to categorize the items for deletion before they disappear from recent changes.

As it turned out, though, I'm currently of the opinion that the page is better served as a redirect, since it was known as "Bishop's Nest" for a long time before.

Thanks for your prep work leading to the October 25 updates, too! -Akira 16:30, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Quick question[]

Hey! I recently created a few blank nest guide pages, and I want your opinion on how to fill them out. The dungeon page templates don't really help very much, and it's too constricting for all the mechanics that a nest has compared to a regular dungeon. So what I was thinking that on the nest guide pages, there would be a link to the original nest page (which would ideally have filled out information like drops/rewards, quests, level requirements, and maybe some other stuff) some kind of video solo run, and then various logical sections that explain each part of the nest (for example, Minotaur Nest can be divided into the entry stage, wave 1, wave 2, minotaur generals, and then the boss himself) and explains any important mechanics.

What I'm not sure about is what information to put in the videos, and what information to put in each description. For the video, would it be better to just finish the nest as fast as possible, or wait around to show the types of skills that the monsters use? Should video annotations/notes also be put in the video as things happen, or would does that intrude on the description part of the page? Also anything else other than a description and video that you would think might be helpful? Thanks! Dremvolaas (talk) 23:30, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

For the video, it would probably be best to show some mechanics of the nest in case the person who is reading the guide happens to be at a lower level/undergeared. Annotations would help, but don't put in too much, since those watching on mobile devices won't be able to see those annotations anyways. Also probably add in recommended stats and/or some sort of indication of difficulty (e.g. a 10-point rating). FrankZer0 (talk) 01:49, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
Another quick unrelated question. Do you know how to datamine? Dremvolaas (talk) 04:33, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Not really. However, there may be some dataminers in the DNModz forum or on MMOSite. Probably check over there or ask them. FrankZer0 (talk) 10:35, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
