Hammers are a primary weapon of the Warrior. They are used specifically by the Mercenary specialization and it's branches. Compared to Axes, Hammers tend to have higher damage and better stun and paralyze ratings at the expense of a lower critical rate and a less versatile normal attack combo.
The Hammer's normal attack combo is a sequence of three swings followed by a jump and a small AOE ground slam. Only the third swing (the upswing) and the ground slam can hit fallen enemies but all attacks can connect if the targets have not hit the ground. Be aware that the jump does not actually cause the user to leave the ground and thus makes him vulnerable for about one second.
